Dashavatar (Marathi Feature Film)

This artwork represents the concept design for “Babuli’s entry into the Dashavatar”, a key village temple sequence from the acclaimed Marathi film Dashavatar.

The scene was developed using live location references, with careful study of the existing topography to ensure authenticity and cinematic realism. Translating a real environment into a visually compelling narrative space was one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of this project.

Close collaboration with the director, through multiple brainstorming and ideation sessions, helped shape the emotional tone and visual language of the sequence.

The visual development focused on strong lighting contrasts, vibrant color palettes, and scale-driven composition to enhance the dramatic impact of the moment.
